Dear New York City Riding Academy Friends,
The New York City Riding Academy invites you, your family and your friends to enroll in its 2021 Horseback Riding Lesson Program. The New York City Riding Academy is a not for profit organization.
The New York City Riding Academy’s 2021 Horseback Riding Lesson Program will be conducted at its facility located in Manhattan at One Randall’s Island Park, adjacent to the East 103rd Street Footbridge at Field 84, New York, New York 10035. The New York City Riding Academy 2021 Horseback Riding Lesson Program will operate from April 1, 2021 through October 31, 2021 from 8:00 A.M. to 5:oo P.M. daily.
The Academy’s 2021 Horseback Riding Lesson Program will consist of a 30 minute English or Western style lesson on a horse and a 30 minute tacking, grooming and barn management lesson without horseback riding. You may select one or both of these lessons individually or you can combine the two individual lessons into one 60 minute lesson. Minimally, 4 lessons would be included into each of the two individual 30 minute lesson packages. The 2 individual 30 minute lessons can be combined into 60 minute lessons upon students requests and Academy approval.
The New York City Riding Academy welcomes children at least 7 years of age and adults as students. Academy students must wear Academy approved horseback riding attire and arrive at the Academy at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled lessons.
The New York City Riding Academy is now enrolling students for its 2021 Horseback Riding Lesson Program. Enrollment into the Academy’s 2021 Horseback Riding Lesson Program is limited. To enroll, go to the Academy’s website at www.nycridingacademy.org and complete the Academy’s Horseback Riding Student Lesson Application Form. The Academy will email each applicant after it receives and reviews their completed Student Horseback Riding Lesson Application.
The New York City Riding Academy welcomes full and part time volunteers. Persons interested in becoming a full or part time volunteer should go to the Academy’s website at www.nycridingacademy.org and complete its Volunteer Application Form. The Academy will email each potential volunteer regarding their participation in its 2021 Horseback Riding Program.
The New York City Riding Academy, a not for profit organization, is requesting donations from its friends and those that would like to become friends of the Academy to help it provide scholarships to needy children; to help feed and care for its horses; to help clean up some of the debris from Hurricane Isaias; and to help us maintain its facilities. Help Us With Cleanup From Hurricane Isaias
Your financial donations will be utilized to help feed and care for Academy horses and help repair and maintain Academy facilities which were recently hit hard by the hurricane, fallen trees and severe bad weather.
